Wait – people are actually leaving Texas now??
Okay so the last time we talked about Texas we learned a lot. We figured out where the best places in this state to move to, and where you should NOT move. We also talked about the different areas in Texas, and what makes Texas great and what makes Texas bad.
The best places you can live in Texas are the northern suburbs of Dallas in places like Frisco, McKinney and Plano where it’s really safe and the schools are good. A lot of the suburbs on Houston’s west side – cities like Sugar Land are also great. However, these all areas are REALLY expensive.
We talked about the BAD places to live in Texas, too. Houston after dark is a terrible place. The border towns are really rundown but not too dangerous. Bellmead and Humble are also not places you’d want to move, either. Austin is the fastest growing city in this whole damn state, but there’s too many people here now and too many homeless folks now.
Texas remains the top state where people are moving to right now. And with that comes a lot of drama.
But there’s a lot more to Texas than that. We didn’t talk about some Texas history, interesting facts and the issues that people in Texas face today.
So that’s what we’re gonna do in this video. Kind of pick up where we left off in a more lighthearted way. We’re going to look at all of that stuff and even meet some people who LIVE in Texas who are gonna tell us what its like in their state and where you could move if you relocate here. It’s time for Cornerhouse Tales: Texas. The Divided State
